MATUSOW SLAMS IVEY
Mike Matusow has criticised the actions of Phil Ivey that has caused a huge controversy. So there you have it—Mike 'The Mouth' Matusow is probably no longer on the Phil Ivey Christmas Card list.
Ivey seems to have split the poker world with his decision, but it is hard for me to see how he did this with anything but his own self-interest in mind. While he claims to be trying to help expedite the process to help the people who are owed money this move seems destined to slow it down.

Mike Matusow was stopped in the WPT finals by Alan Sternberg in a disappointing result. Sexton, sitting on the very short stack to enter the final table, was the first player eliminated at the 27th hand of play by Mike Matusow. Sexton looked to be in great shape with K-Q against Matusow's K-J, but Matusow hit a J on the river to knock out poker's ambassador and not only shrink the final table to five players, but also collected the $5,000 bounty on Sexton's head as he was a Shooting Star during the event.

MIKE MATUSOW IN DIET BET?
Phil Hellmuth tweeted about the Matusow v. Forrest bet, claiming that Forrest has to weigh 139lbs by July 15 in order to win two million dollars from Mike “The Mouth” Matusow. Frankly, we’re surprised that Matusow has two million to lose.
If he doesn’t make the weight by then, he has until September 15 in which case he will win $1m. If he doesn’t succeed, Matusow gets $150,000. Apparently Justin Smith also has a large chunk of the action.
